Q: How long have you been in the OD field?

Depending on how you define OD, close to 2 decades.

Q: How long have you been member of MNDOND?

Most, but not all of the last decade.

Q: Why did you join?

Camaraderie, I was already a member of MPPAW and wanted to expand my network locally

Q: What benefits do you gain from membership?

Networking. All of the monthly programming. Leadership experience.

Q: What special skills do you possess that make you an effective OD professional?

A broad base of OD with a couple of deep dives like evidence-based OD and data analysis interpretation / application

Q: Have you been a board member/volunteer with MNODN before? If so, please share your experience/benefits.

I initially volunteered to help with a survey of members back in maybe 2010. One thing led to another and next I was in the marketing and communications role for 2 years 😊

I also did programming for a year.

Q: What advice do you have for people entering the field?

Obtain a broad exposure to what OD is and develop your own Niche with a few solid strong skills. Try to get a mentor if possible and experience work with those (coworkers, colleagues, bosses, clients etc.) who have strengths you may not share. :-)
